This is the fourth 3D disk in the "Lichtmond" series. Lichtmond collected every imaginable award for both music and 3D in Europe, but it has never been formally introduced / marketed in the US. One can find their BR disk, also on Amazon, but I believe all sales go through 3rd party sellers.

Lichmond has been amazing since the first BR in the series came out some 4-5 years ago. It is a masterpiece of surround sound and a masterpiece of 3D. Each Lichmond immerses viewers into an amazingly beautiful world of fantasy, entirely computer designed, and you travel through this world on the waves of music. There is no better disk to demonstrate the performance of a 3D TV with a good surround sound audio system than one of the Lichtmond videos.

This is the 4th one. It is still great, but somehow it did not impress quite as much as the first three. The reasons are two. One, is that it has too much space footage with meteorites floating towards you. Every previous Lichtmond had some of it, but I think this one has too much to the border of getting boring. There are only about 3 episodes of beautiful imaginary landscapes. Secondly, they somehow did not do the 3D rendering quite right. It feels like the distance between the eyes is way off. Watching the movie puts a lot of strain on the eyes and feels tiring.

The second and third Lichtmond were just as good as the first one, if not better. I had huge hopes for this fourth one. Could not wait for it to come out. Somehow, it does not feel quite up to the mark, although it is still good. Also, the music is not quite as memorable as in the first one. Has the Lichtmond team started running out of steam, or was is just a hick-up?
