Timeless Tales of Yesternever, Vol. 2 is the follow up to the more techno sounding TTY Vol 1. Volume 2 is an experimental journey into ambient sound sculpting. Quite strange and creepy. My main influences in the ambient and electronic genre are Tangerine Dream, Charlie Clouser, and Rogue Element. I did not set out to create a this music based on those influences, but I think there is some evidence in the result.

One main difference with this project is that the majority of the music was created by processing and distorting the signal of an electric guitar, morphing the tones into long weird sounds that kind of resemble synth or strings. The results were then mixed with sounds made using real world objects and systems, including the springs of an overhead garage door, garbage cans, kitchen utensils, road noise and other things.

Timeless Tales of Yesternever titles set apart my experimental projects from my "normal" music which features vocals and more traditional rhythms and arrangements. The title stems from my need to explore my past, trying to understand and make sense of certain influences and tendencies, and expressing those ideas in ways that satisfies my current creative needs, and potential of the future.
